Sayadiya health dish *
One of the popular delicious highly nutritive well known for the Mediterranean people.
Sayadiya Health Dish Ingredients:
– fish ( about one kilo)
– 1/4 cups of oil for the sause
– 1 chopped onions.
– one small tablespoons of salt.
– A spoonful of soft cumin
– Half a cup of flour mixed with a teaspoon of cumin and salt.
– a teaspoon of saffron (saffron)
– Two cups of rice.
11/2 cups of water Black pepper fluff
– pine as desired,
Sayadiya Health Dish Method:
1-Put the oil in a deep skillet over the fire. Immerse the fish in a mixture of flour, salt and cumin, then put in the pan until well browned, then remove from the fire and set aside to be cleaned.
2- We take the oil, where the fish are browned, and put it with the onions on it and toss it on the fire in a pot until it wilts.
3- Remove the onions from the pot and in the bottom of the pot, put the pieces of fish.
4-Wash the rice with cold water then soak it in warm water with fluff of salt for quarter an hour then wash it with cold water again. Then mix the onions with the washed rice and pour over the fish
5- Add the water to the salt and cumin, saffron, black pepper to boil well and then pour this water over the fish mixture with rice without stirring. Leave the amount of rice on fire for half an hour at a low fire.
After cooking the dish, fold the pot with the rice in a tray and place the reddish pine over the rice.
